Book of Tut Megaways: Ante Bet or Bonus Buy, Never Both

Book of Tut Megaways builds a small fork into its own rules: the Ante Bet and the Buy Free Spins button cannot coexist. Switch the toggle on and more Scatter books land on the reels while the total bet climbs and the buy option goes dark; leave it off and the 100x shortcut stays open, with the feature left to arrive on its own. One route is given up for the other, and that trade is the first thing this Egyptian chapter asks of a player. Once inside, the ritual is pure book fare: an ancient tome picks the special expanding symbol, which then fills whole reels and pays anywhere for the round, now spread across six Megaways reels that can open to 117,649 ways. Game modes

All four entries describe a single arc: how the Megaways base game feeds into the Free Spins round, and what changes at each step along the way. Two optional wagers reshape that route, and they exclude one another.

Base Game

Six reels land between one and seven symbols each spin, so the ways counter recalculates constantly and tops out at 117,649, with wins paying left to right from the first reel. On random spins one paying symbol is named a Special Expanding Symbol: regular wins settle first, and only then does it stretch to fill its reels and pay anywhere.

Free Spins

Three or more Book of Tut Scatters anywhere award ten Free Spins. Before the round begins, one paying symbol is drawn as its Special Expanding Symbol, and unlike the base game's spin-by-spin picks it stays fixed across all ten, on special reels, expanding and paying anywhere. Three further Scatters retrigger ten more spins.

Buy Free Spins

For 100x the current total bet, at a 96.06% RTP, the round starts instantly, and the triggering spin is guaranteed four, five or six Scatters rather than the natural minimum of three. The option is available only while the Ante Bet stays off; activate that toggle and this purchase disappears.

Ante Bet

Moving the bet basis from 20x to 25x places extra Scatters on the reels, raising the natural Free Spins trigger chance, with RTP shifting from 96.00% to 96.01%. Because it works on organic triggers, it switches off Buy Free Spins, so the two routes into the round can never be active together.
